Came for an afternoon tea and facial massage. Both were amazing! Very generous afternoon tea and facial was so relaxing. Loved it!
Great hotel with nice rooms inside, there are some external rooms in outside buildings but I have not tried those. Very comfy bed and nice bath. Water pressure is not great so having a shower is not the best experience. Breakfast in the morning is good, but food in the restaurant in the evening was not great on my visit. The restaurant was barely half full, yet it took 25 minutes for someone to bring a menu to my table and then over an hour to get the actual food, and I only ate a few bites as the meat was tough and the veg was cold and limp.
Great location, lovely building and even livelier staff. I really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely recommend staying here. The food is good, accommodation very good and I felt I was a valued customer. Having travelled the world extensively, I would rate my stay here in my top 10.
Very impressive hotel in good location. We've stayed previously and the standards were high. Not so on this last visit over Christmas and we came to regret having stayed at Lamphey Court at this time of year.Standards and cleanliness were generally high but management control seemed to be lacking in some areas.The spa facility was very good except that there seemed to be sand of some other contaminant in the bottom of the jacuzzi !Overall we came away somewhat disappointed but not desperately unhappy !
Lovely hotel in the Welsh countryside. We booked a double room in the main house. Rooms are nicely decorated and service was good and friendly however there were a lot of cobwebs in the room so it could have been a bit cleaner. We ate breakfast in the hotel which provided a good cooked English breakfast. I also booked a facial at the spa which was lovely and the spa has one of the best gyms I've seen in a hotel.
